Siobhan Copland
Siobhan is the Founder and Director of Cupid in the City. Her background is in Corporate events and as PA to directors.
She has a team made up of experienced matchmakers and headhunters, dating coaches, photographers and stylists to ensure clients get a fully supportive service offering a turn key solution to singles looking to turn their dating lives around.
YEARS RUNNING
Cupid in the City was established in 2009 as a singles event brand called Catch Me Cupid, since the company had a rebrand and moved focus to the 1-1 approach since 2011 and has steadily grown to become one of the leaders within the matchmaking industry.
HOW MUCH ARE THE FEES?
Membership is typically offered for 6 months starting from £4,500 up to £7,000 depending on the specifics for the search.
Membership comprises a 6 month active period and has an additional benefit of a 6-month extension or ‘holding’ period (making the membership 12 months in total.
During which time a number of introductions are included, as well as introductions to members, they offer a headhunting service where matchmakers actively recruit matches through various channels, including setting the brief to the team of well connected headhunters.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Memberships include several introductions, a team of matchmakers working on their behalf, regular contact calls, a complimentary professional photoshoot with photos to keep, a session with a personal stylist and a dating-coaching session with James Preece as well as ongoing guidance and support throughout memberships. A recent add on includes making over and managing your apps for a period of time.
HOW DO THEY MATCH YOU?
Cupid in the City personally interviews every member getting to know them on a deep and personal level, including a psychology based questionnaire and personality test and understanding of attachment styles. Once interest is confirmed by a chosen match based on high levels of compatibility the matchmakers present and discuss matches profiles. Once interest is confirmed both sides availability of both parties are confirmed and the first date is planned. Usually the male chooses the date place and time to meet, and numbers are exchanged the day before to confirm arrangements. Following which both parties are expected to cheek in with feedback to see whether they would like to meet again or move on to the next introduction .
Typically one introduction takes place at one time, allowing each individual person to really focus on building a connection.
Social opportunities are also provided in the way of social events organised and hosted by Siobhan.
